2015 ACTWS Conference:  Celebrating 25 Years!

Conservation Advocacy:  Turning Research into Real Change

Conservation is in everyone’s hearts and minds.  While we know it is vital for continued existence, achieving it is not easy.  How do you go from research to real change?  The 2015 conference plenary will profile conservation researchers and advocates who bring the message to the public. We will discuss how knowledge turns into public will, which informs political decisions and finally sound management.  We will discuss successes and failures of conservation advocacy from various landscapes and learn how everyone in the wildlife field can become a successful conservation advocate.
