We’re Chapter of the Year!

At The Wildlife Society conference in Reno last week, The ACTWS was honoured as the Chapter of the Year!

In presenting the award to Dr. Evelyn Merrill, who received the award on behalf of all ACTWS members, TWS past-president Darren Miller cited the Alberta Chapter’s 30 year history of commitment to wildlife science in Canada.

It’s a great honour to be named TWS Chapter of the Year and to be the first Chapter so recognized in Canada. Kudo’s to our hard working executive, and our dedicated members who’s tireless work on behalf of Alberta’s wild life and wild spaces is making a difference.
