Wildlife Without Borders – Conference 2022

We’re less than a week away from our 2022 conference, Wildlife Without Borders. Our second virtual conference has all the components you know and love – talks, panel discussions, networking events, fun and games. We’ve worked hard to create an event that you can enjoy, even if it’s virtual. Of course, we’d love to gather in person but we’re all getting used to making the most of our “zoom time”.

Conference At a Glance

Conference week is March 14-18 and there are events everyday. From March 14-17, there are meetings and events – all of which are free. Friday, March 18, is a one day conference extravaganza with talks, panel discussions, and a great keynote speaker. Registration is required for Friday’s events.

Our Executive Director, Sarah, explains the conference structure in this short video.

For those of you on the fence about registering, re-read this post from last year with the Top 10 Reasons Virtual is Better. With over 40 speakers and plenty of engagement opportunities, Wildlife Without Borders promises to be another great ACTWS conference. Registration is open until 10am on March 18. If you’re still unsure, plan to attend some of the free events and then register for the main event.

We are so looking forward to hearing what you’ve been up to, learning from you all, collaborating on future projects, and working together to conserve Alberta’s wildlife and their habitats through science.
