WORKSHOP: Certified Wildlife Biologist

The CSTWS Certification Committee is hosting a ½ day workshop dealing with TWS Certification. The first part of the agenda will be dominated by a series of speakers dealing with certification: an overview of the program; efforts to model university/college curricula to conform to TWS standards; and testimonials by male and female Certified Wildlife Biologists about why certification has been important for them in their wildlife careers. Mid-way through, there will be a working session designed to provide participants an opportunity to discuss certification. To end the workshop, a panel of male and female Certified Wildlife Biologists will talk about issues facing TWS Certification in Canada and some thoughts on its future.
