Wildlife Tracks: Reading the Stories of Whitemud Creek

The ACTWS is collaborating with Fiera Biological for an engaging wildlife tracking workshop on April 11 from 9:00–11:00 AM in Whitemud Creek Park.

Join us for a relaxed walk as we explore the hidden stories wildlife leave behind through their tracks and signs. Led by an advanced wildlife tracker, participants will learn how to identify and interpret evidence of animal activity on the landscape. You can expect frequent stops, discussion, and short off-trail explorations as we discover how much can be seen, learned, and understood through the interpretation of tracks and signs.

Whether you are new to tracking or already have some experience, this workshop offers a great opportunity to sharpen your skills and see the natural world from a new perspective.

Led by Joseph Litke, a senior wildlife biologist with Fiera Biological Consulting and a certified wildlife tracker, the workshop will focus on building ecological literacy and learning how to read the stories animals leave behind in their movements and behaviors.
