Help Shape the Future of Wildlife Conservation: A Fundraiser for Future Biologists
Welcome to our 2023 ACTWS Student Love Fundraiser!
Our Mission
At the Alberta Chapter of The Wildlife Society, we believe in nurturing the next generation of wildlife biologists. Your support can make a significant impact on the lives of aspiring students, shaping the future of wildlife conservation.
How Your Support Can Make a Difference:
1. Student Scholarships: Provide financial assistance to deserving students, enabling them to pursue their passion for wildlife conservation and further their education.
2. Travel Grants: Help students attend conferences and immerse themselves in valuable experiences that fuel their enthusiasm and drive for making a positive impact.
3. Student Presentation Awards: Recognize and celebrate outstanding student presentations, encouraging excellence in research and dedication to the field.
The money raised through this fundraiser will directly contribute to these initiatives, shaping the future of wildlife conservation by nurturing the talents and aspirations of budding biologists.

Our Achievements
The ACTWS annually awards students with nearly $10,000 in scholarships, travel grants, and presentation awards during our annual conference. Students need your support more than ever before. In the previous year, we received over 20 applications for our three $1,500 scholarships, and there were requests for almost $8,000 in travel grants to facilitate students’ attendance at the annual conference.
